The Phone Recording System is an 8 hour Tele
Secretary, designed for recording single line phone calls when the
phone line is in use. The Phone Recording System is line activated, so there is
no drain on the batteries, which remain in standby mode until
the phone line is in use. The batteries power the Phone Recording System to
start recording when the system senses a change in the voltage on the phone
line, from on hook to off hook.
The Phone Recording System can be
connected to the phone that is being
used, or anywhere on the phone
line. Once connected, recordings are clear and automatic.
Automatic Record Activation: Upon picking up the phone handset, the Phone
Recording System activates, automatically recording both sides of the
conversation. When the phone is hung up, the recording stops.
Once
installed on a single line phone, the Phone Recording System will also record
all conversations taking place on all other phone extensions.
The
Phone Recording System uses a compact voltage activator intended to provide
automatic recordings of telephone line conversations, with no clicks or
disturbing sounds. Because the Phone Recording System activates only when phone
conversations take place, the batteries able to power the system for 20 hours of
recording.

Q: Does the Phone Recording System make any noise when
connected to the phone line?
A: No. There are no interruptions, clicks, or beeps.
Just silent, non-disturbing phone recording.
Q: What can be recorded?
A: Record telephone conversations that are incoming
or outgoing.
Q: Does the Phone Recording System have to be
connected to the phone?
A: No. It only has to be connected somewhere on the
phone line, provided you are using it on a single line. If you are using it on a
multi-line phone system such as a PBX found in most office environments, then
the answer is yes, it does need to be connected directly to the phone you are
using.
Q: What powers the Phone Recording System?
A: The system operates on battery power which is
automatically engaged when the phone is picked up on a single line. On a
multi-line phone connection, the battery power is engaged by the user as a
manual operating of the recording device is required.
The Phone Recording System is an integrated system, and may take a few days to build, test, and ship out.
