Portable VHF Radios Model Y105 are VHF Band Radios, generally used by commercial users as well as security teams who need VHF 2-Way Radios to communicate in open areas. Outdoors in the open, VHF Radios transmit and receive communications over wide distances such as open fields, urban housing neighborhoods, and spread out city areas. VHF tends to perform slightly farther than line of sight communications.
 
In addition to each Y105 radio, discreet ear phone with a push to talk microphone is available for inconspicuous one-way and two-way communication. These listening devices come in wireless and hard wired configurations.
